Our speaker at Monday's meeting will be Liz Fales, the Program Development Manager for CASA Lake County, an agency that protects the rights of children in Lake County's foster system. Volunteers advocate for more than 1500 kids each year in courts, in schools and in our community to help them find safe, permanent and loving homes, while ensuring that they have someone they can depend on. Liz will talk about what CASA and its volunteers do and what help they need. This video give a great overview:
