Our next speaker, next Monday (May 3) at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom is Kerry Kuczyinski, Volunteer/Development Coordinator for Save-a-Pet in Grayslake.  Save-A-Pet is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and one of the largest no-kill cat and dog rescues in Lake County that operates a full-time adoption center.  Their motto is "Help, Heal, Home."

Kerry manages a team of 300+ volunteers who interact with and clean up after the many animals waiting for a home, both at the Grayslake headquarters and Pet Smarts in Kildeer and Vernon Hills. During her presentation, Kerry will discuss Save-A-Pet’s mission and exactly what Save-A-Pet does, including adoptions, foster, and humane investigations and will show photos of adoptable pets. We are not responsible for any adoptions that should happen to be inspired by it!

A Zoom link will be sent to members and friends of Rotary next weekend.  Please RSVP to lzrotary@gmail.com if you want to make sure to be included.
