Friday Oct 28th Speaker - Kate Ceithaml of Lake County Haven
Kate Ceithaml, Outreach Coordinator for The Lake County Haven, will be our speaker on Friday. The Haven is a transitional shelter and housing program for homeless women and their children. We provide for all of our residents basic needs as well as provide intensive case management and life-skills training to help them achieve permanent, independent living.
Lake County Haven serves homeless women and children from throughout Lake County. The non-profit group has been offering many opportunities to help women and children achieve their goal of having a new home for 25 years, including "Adopt-a-Night" at the shelter and Kitchen Table Conversations about making the transition. These programs have helped over 900 people.
