You'll want to attend tonight's (June 6)Lake Zurich Rotary meeting. Our scholarship winners, Grace Trumbull and Sasha Razin, will be introducing themselves to us personally to tell us about their community service projects and their plans for the future. The scholarship committee selected these talented students to receive our support and it's always inspiring to hear from them as they move on to higher education.
In addition, Subbarao's nephews, who also attended RYLA will join us via Zoom. We awarded them a full scholarship to RYLA on merit as well.
The meeting will be hybrid: in-person at Lake Zurich Family Martial Arts, 215 S. Rand Road, LZ and on Zoom. We'll also have some discussion of our own projects, including the beer tent at the Farmers' Market. Hope to see you there!
