At the next Lake Zurich Rotary Club meeting, this Monday February 5, our speaker will be Natalie Rodriquez, Executive Director of Hopeful Beginnings, a crisis pregnancy center in Palatine. Hopeful Beginnings offers parenting classes and workshops, provide counseling to new moms who are experiencing post-partum depression after child birth, and free clothing, baby formula, diapers, wipes and other needed items to families in need. In addition, they provide resources to single moms who are looking to enter (or re-enter) the workforce and have childcare/daycare needs, etc. They also encourage and facilitate adoption.
We'll also be talking about upcoming community service projects and social events. Lake Zurich Rotary meets every 1st and 3rd Monday at 6:30pm at the Ela Area Pubic Library, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 275 Mohawk Ln., Lake Zurich. You may also attend via Zoom.
