Membership represents a broad cross-section of community leaders and business men and women. The Rotary Club of Lake Zurich meets every Friday (except during holiday weeks at Foglia YMCA, 1035 N. In addition, there are a number of community service projects and social events held throughout the year. These include dinners, social gatherings, Rotary events, all of which are attended by members, spouses and guests.

In the community, we:
  • Give away books to kids once a month at the local food pantry to encourage reading and the love of learning
  • Sponsor and run the Tennis Ball/Baseball Throw at Special Olympics
  • Give six scholarships per year to college- and community-college-bound seniors
  • Sponsor exchange students for short-term visits
  • Hold fun events to raise money for local projects
  • Raise money to End Polio throughout the world and to provide X-Ray machines in Guatamala
  • Develop friendships with others who want to give back.
